The Planning Process
Implementation - DSN:
In order for the DSNI to implement the plan resources were needed.
Residents were recruited and a clean up campaign was implemented.
DSNI obtained funding support from the Boston foundation, the city's largest foundation, the riley Foundation, and the Charles Stuart Mott Foundation, the second major national foundation.
Located a law firm that specialized in real estate which would provide pro bono legal assistance in order to implement the development plan.
Convinced the city to delegate the authority of eminent domain to the DSNI
