Inherent in neighborhood planning are several problems both internal and external. A few of these problems are community involvement, funding and city bureaucracy.

Connection and Involvement

There is a connection between community involvement, funding and bureaucracy.  The community must be involved in taking responsibility for maintaining desirability of the community, which leads to the city taking an active interest in the neighborhood, which in turn leads to funding sources being more readily available to maintain the neighborhood.
